Morty is a lovable Pittie mix, with soulful eyes that seem to look into your very soul.
When we got the call about Morty, he'd been seriously injured and possibly stabbed by his owner. He was bleeding and clearly in need of urgent medical attention, so we rushed to the scene to help.
After the vet exam, we discovered that Morty, a 10 year old senior, had been brutally stabbed in the head with something sharp, like a pair of scissors or a knife. It was heartbreaking to see Morty in this condition because he's just a big ol’ mush, and didn’t deserve to suffer such horrible abuse.
Morty is doing very well in his foster home and has fully recovered from his ordeal. He loves his walks and gets along with nice, mellow dogs. What he doesn't like: pushy, dominant dogs and cats! Like most Pitties, he can be dramatic when he feels ignored and will start to bark for attention.
Morty's MOST favorite thing is sunbathing on the grass! A perfect home for Morty would be one where his human has a backyard and is not afraid to smother him with love and attention!
