My story

HI! I'M KIWI. My humans think I'm a terrier mix of some sort. I am not hypoallergenic, and I do shed. I am mostly housetrained but still have accidents. I am very active and need a family that is home a lot with a nice yard to play in. I get along well with other pups but I am not so sure about kittie cats, since my foster mommy doesn't have any of those. She also doesn't have small kids, but I love older kids and adults. I'm located in Houston TX (no matter what it says elsewhere). You'll need to pay for transport to this area or pick me up. Please start the process to make me a family member by filling out the application - I am available if my ad is still up. My rescue will be taking applications for me for serveral weeks and then matching me to the best fit home. My fee is $850. I hope we can be friends and thanks for reading my ad!
NO INQUIRIES WILL BE RESPONDED TO (there are no exceptions to this) - ONLY COMPLETED APPLICATIONS which you can fill out here.
YOU MUST FILL OUT THE APPLICATION TO BE CONSIDERED OR CONTACTED.

Additional adoption info

Please fill out the adoption application. Since we are in Texas, we adopt only out of state due to the pet overpopulation in the city. We believe adopting locally does not help the problem as there are so many pets available for adoption in shelters locally. If we like an application, we proceed with a virtual meet and greet where the adopter can meet the pet, asks questions, etc., and we can see their home. All our adopters acknowledge that they do not meet the pet in person and they need to be comfortable with this, and are. Once fee is paid, we schedule transport, either by an approved ground transporter, or schedule a in-cabin hand carry option by plane.

More about this rescue

We are a small rescue based in Houston TX focusing on rescuing shelter pets from death row, and taking in stray dogs. We are a foster based rescue meaning that all our pets are in foster homes and not in boarding or a shelter. We keep our pets for long periods of time until we find the perfect home so our pets get the best care back to health before they are adoptedSince we are in Texas, we adopt only out of state due to the pet overpopulation in the city.
