My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

They call me "Red Head Fred" because I have a beautiful red and black coat that shines in the sun. I am a Basset mix so my legs are a little shorter and have that Basset curve. I would do great having another dog my size that likes to run and play as much as I do, and as for cats, I can take them or leave them. I met the most amazing little person yesterday and just fell in love, I even took my nap right along side her on the couch. I am crated when my foster leaves but am not very happy about it. Having a dog crated near me makes me feel a little better. Did I tell you i speak "hound"? It's an acquired taste to some but my foster doesn't mind when I voice my opinion as I don't do it that often.I would love a dog around my age (18 months ) to play with and a fenced in yard. Kids are a bonus!! My adoption fee is $300.

Please read all info below before proceeding. Please make sure you are ready to adopt before filling out an application.
Read all info posted about the dogs and if we say the dogs needs a fenced yard and you don't have one please don't proceed. We also don't adopt out to home with INVISIBLE/SHOCK FENCING and can provide you some info if you would like to understand why we feel this way. Because these are rescued dogs we don't usually know who the parents are so breed listings are usually an educated guess. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE A LIFETIME COMMITMENT TO THIS PET. If you are interested in this dog please go to our website www.susieqdogresq.com. to fill out an application. A vet reference and home visit are required.
