My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Travis is a young boy of only 2 years. He is heartworm positive and still needs a little time to get through his treatment. Travis is very shy, but wants love so badly. He is going to need a very patient and understanding owner. Travis was a backyard dog who was dumped with several other dogs back in April, and that’s how he ended up in a shelter before Russell Rescue got him out. He is very timid, but tries so hard to warm up to people. It took several weeks for him to let his foster mom pet him, but he’s getting better everyday! He gets along with other dogs and will be fine with cats....We think he’s scared of them! He needs a fairly quiet home and a securely fenced yard.
