Micah is sad. He lost his mama. He came to the shelter after his human mama passed away. We took him to the vet because of his eye and found out he has Hyperthyroidism. It is very easy to treat. Just a pill a day in some wet food and he eats it right up. He loves people and wants a home and people to love.
If you are interested in adopting Micah please contact Joy Animal Rescue Mission.

We have an adoption contract that is filled out by all prospective adopters. We then do a vet check to make sure all animals currently and in the past were kept up on their shots. We then charge an $85 adoption fee for cats. The fees include the spay or neuter. If the pet has not been spayed or neutered prior to going home there is a $50 hold that is returned upon confirmation of the spay or neuter. And a contract is signed with the rescue.

More about this rescue
Our group was started to help animals find there forever homes. Most of our animals are in foster homes where they get more attention than in a shelter. Our rescue was started by a group of volunteers that wanted to make a difference in the unwanted pet population.
