My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please let us introduce you to Duke, the chillest dog ??at the shelter... Duke has been with us for over 2 yrs. He is one of our longest residents due to some behavioral issues. Duke is loved by all of us here and while we work to find him a forever future outside the shelter, we also work very hard to make sure our longer residents like Duke are happy and as stress free as possible. Duke would need an experienced adult home who would be willing to work with our trainers on his neck sensitivity. He does get along with puppies and younger playful dogs. Duke is very smart and learns new things quickly. Duke is a low maintenance dog. He would be happiest in a home where he could be outside on his bed for most of the day in a partially shaded/sunny area. He loves toys but also loves to hide them even more for future play. Duke does have an allergy to chicken so he only eats our salmon or beef kibble. Please email dogs@hitor.org to find out more about Duke! #duke
