Hank!

Mr. Hanky Panky is a sweet bowling ball of a dog! At around 55 pounds he's a good sized dog, but he is rather stout and perfectly plump so he really doesn't feel like more than a medium sized dog.  He's also ready to be your best friend, and would fit nicely into a family with active kids.  Hank is food motivated, so training him new commands will be easy and fun! He already knows sit, shake and is potty trained. Hank would like a fenced in yard to explore, he is not a fit with cats or small dogs but is ready to be your number one pup or possibly live with a laid back female that's around his size! Hank has never been around babies, but he has lived with two younger elementary aged kids and was gentle and great with them. Hank himself is around 4 years old, and has great energy! We find him to settle in nicely, walk well on a leash and in general be a couch potato when given the opportunity!

Hank's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives plus a free basic obedience course at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha.  Last Hope requires that all potential adopters have their current pets altered, current on vaccinations and preventatives and kept as indoor pets only. Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and a home visit. Please submit an adoption application for consideration through our website.
