Sherlock is a special boy - his previous owner passed away and his family could not keep him. Sherlock loves his foster family and follows the kids around everywhere and loves to sleep with them. He likes other dogs but sometimes is not sure how to initiate play - barking in their face sometimes. Like a typical basset - he likes to get on the furniture and even lays on the back of the sofa like a cat (typical basset - he also does not like to be moved once he settles in a spot). Sherlock does have separation anxiety and would do best in a home where someone is around- if left alone a lot he will bark loudly and incessantly. This boy deserves the love and patience a family can give him.
