We are looking to rehome our 3 year old male Great Pyrenees named Teddy Bear. We want him to go to a good home that will show him lots of love and care. Teddy does have his faults. He does not care for birds, even if they are a mile away in the sky. He will bark those birds away. We are rehoming Teddy now because, while he does like to play with smaller dogs (He has gotten along with a beagle and a pomeranian in the past) He does not play nice with larger dogs. Even with time to get used to one another he will still go after any dog that nears his size. This will happen on walks as well. While passing smaller dogs he is fine, but if a golden retriever is near Teddy Bear will pull at the leash with all his strength, which is a lot. We have had to keep him separated in our home from a golden retriever.
Teddy Bear also takes time to warm up to strange adults. Because of his size you need to watch him around your small children. He is kind but can easily knock them over.
