Pepper is a stray. She arrived at our door during the very cold winter months and it appeared that she did not have a permanent home. She appeared healthy, however. We fed and watered her for a few weeks, but left her outside in the event she did have a permanent home. Eventually, we allowed her to stay indoors as the weather became frigid. She used the litter box immediately. She is very good about using it and has never had an accident in the house. We bought scratch pads for her and she uses those rather than scratching furniture. She follows us around the house all day and sits near us in the evening when we watch television. She likes to be held for only short periods of time. She likes to be pet, but sometimes she gets annoyed. She sleeps through the night. She is playful and will on occasion sit on our laps. The vet thought she may be around 2 years old. She is not interested in going outside. She makes great company. Oh, she loves bird watching.
