My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Gladly. If you read the story my sister Cloud wrote about us then you know that
my brothers and sisters and I are verrry lucky t o be here. Our Mommy was trapped in something called a TNR project and was taken to a clinic with her friends. They were going to help her not have lots more kittens, but didn't know we were along for the ride. Two hours before this help began, Mommy gave birth to all five of us in a trap!!!

Even as a tiny kitten, I always stayed with Mommy while everyone else was playing. I have to say that life has been great so far. I live with Cloud and while it's fun at the shelter and we get to run around every day and play on the new porch with the tree, it would be better if we had our very own home and family to love us.

I'm the one that is still a bit shy and it's just really hard for me to be alone. It happened once and I was just to afraid to come out without my sister. I do enjoy the love and attention I get from my shelter moms - they're great and they love me a lot. I really like it when they hold me - it feels so good and I always start to purr. I think if you could be patient with me, we'd be best friends - it just may take a little while.

If you think you might enjoy being my best friend, please come by the shelter. I don't go to PetSmart because I really don't like it there, but you can visit me here.
See you soon!

At Altered Feral State, we work with feral cat colonies. All of our kittens were removed from the colonies and completely socialized when they are less than 8 weeks old. We don't offer them for adoption until they have been tested, vaccinated and spayed or neutered.

Our adoption fee of $75 only covers a very small portion of our costs, but to us, it's all about finding the best home for these wonderful kitties.

If you are interested in providing a home for Gladly, please go to our website, download our adoption application and email it to us at afsga@att.net.
