Smudge was rescued from a park in the sweltering heat of the Las Vegas desert. Domestic rabbits can't survive on their own especially in extremely hot weather! She is a lucky bunny!
She is a strikingly beautiful rabbit!. There isn't a mean bone in her body! She will sit on your lap for very long periods of time for you to love on her. She will gladly submit her head for endless rubs! She doesn't squirm away and the occasional tooth chatter can be heard or felt on the bottom of her jawline.
She enjoys observing the goings on of her environment. Ahhh, the simple pleasures of life! She's even learned to do the superman stretch as she feels safe now that she's rescued. She has fun by chewing her cardboard hidey box and she is an expert of tossing all her toys in her water bowl.
She is very good about getting her nails trimmed, scent glands cleaned and fur combed.
Please be her hero and give this SUPER SWEET girl a REAL home, not just a rescue home!

If Smudge ultimately can't be free roaming or live in a room or a section of a room, then an x-pen enclosure or home made DIY wire grid system enclosure is a suitable alternative. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it.
Don't have the items you need to welcome a bunny to your home? No problem, I have low cost x-pen enclosures, litter boxes, bunny litter, hay, food pellets and toys to make new bunny ownership easier for you. Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!

We do have a phone screening process or printed questionnaire for potential adopters to fill out. We have an adoption contract and a reasonable donation fee for the adoption to help cover the cost of spay/neuter, vet check, etc.
