Moby is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so he is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home.
Moby and his siblings were born under our care. Their mother Pearl was surrendered by her owner, who allowed Pearl to get pregnant, waited too long before she tried to get her fixed, and then wanted to get rid of her before she had the puppies. Pearl is a terrier mix and the father(s) are unknown, Pearl's DNA test came back as a mixture of 14 different breeds, with only 20% American Staffordshire Terrier.
Moby is now going on 9 months of age and he and his brother Turk are the only ones who have not been adopted. Moby is white with dark grey markings and beautiful hazel eyes. He was one of the larger pups in the litter and we think he might be around 60 pounds when grown. Moby is a very sweet and gentle boy. He likes toys, treats, and playing with his siblings. Moby loves water and was the first one in the wading pool. He loves human attention and is constantly at your feet. Moby needs more training and additional socialization is very important as that gets scared on occasion. Moby must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and would like a secure, fenced yard to run and play.
Moby is healthy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and is on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Moby has a $500.00 adoption fee including ground transport to Warren NJ, Allentown PA, or Nanuet NY. He is being fostered in Texas and will not be sent north until after he is adopted. We are an army of one trying to save some of the many homeless and unwanted dogs in the area where we live. There are too many wonderful unwanted dogs in the south and not enough good homes for all of them. We adopt and transport dogs to loving forever homes in the northeast to save them from euthanasia or other terrible fates.
