Ringo is an active young man with dachshund-esque ambitions about taking over the world... err... sofa?
He is super playful & loves other dogs his own size, but he isnt fond of sharing his humans' affection until he is sure there is plenty of lovins' to go around. Toys & humans are his favorites, school-age kids are awesome.... but please no small toddlers to knock over with his bouncy kangaroo greetings.
Ringo is housetrained, leash trained & crate trained... but would much rather be cuddling on the sofa or big bed with you.
Ringo loves to run, so will do best in a home with a fenced yard he can exercise & explore -- no dog parks or large dogs please!! He would do fantastic as an only dog, but is willing to consider life as part of a canine pack if any lady dog(s) or submissive males are involved. (what leader doesn't need to have male sidekicks & girls swooning around him?)

RINGO is available for adoption through K-9 Rescue of the Eastern Shore.
An adoption process is required to include filling out an online adoption application available at the following link -- https://www.k9rescuees.org/info/adoption
Veterinary and personal reference checks, and a home visit/meet-n-greet are required PRIOR to being approved to adopt. The time frame for completing this process depends largely on how quickly references respond, your vet office is able to speak to us (some want written permission first), your landlord or HOA (if applicable) confirms their approval for a pet, & how your schedule aligns with that of our volunteer(s) for the Home Visit.
