Roberto (GA) is a male Shar Pei mix rescued in Georgia. Our veterinary partner estimates that Roberto is 7 years old at the time of intake in June 2021. Roberto is people and dog friendly. Roberto was found as a stray and taken to a kill shelter. He was in a neglected condition and if he remained unclaimed, it was likely that Roberto would not have made it out of that shelter alive. So we waited to see if Roberto's owner stepped up, and when he didn't, we immediately brought Roberto into our rescue and to our veterinary partner for all of the medical treatment he had been denied over the years. Roberto is a very friendly, sweet, laid back kind of guy who will make a wonderful 4 legged companion. He is up to date on core vaccines, has been neutered, and is microchipped. RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption
