My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I adopted Smudge from a family who let their mini poodle attack and terrorize him for 6 months as a puppy, he is my first dog. Previous owners did little to protect him and can be shown in his small scares around his face. Because of this Smudge has become reactive towards other dogs and developed resource guarding towards food and high value treats.

I have been working to fix his behaviors, working with Trainers, Behaviorists, and Group obedience classes, but it is taking a toll on my relationship and job, as it requires a lot of time, attention, and support. Smudge is 8 months old, intelligent, high energy, and loves to play and have a job. He is house trained, knows heel, come, sit, stay, down, drop it, and leave it. He is overall very obedient, focused when training and given tasks, and loves to learn new tricks and commands.

I am looking for an experienced dog owner, with an active lifestyle who can give the proper dedication and time to help Smudge be the dog I know he can be.
