My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Athena is an 11 month old puppy female.

She was spayed last December in Mexico. She has all her shots and is current on her flea/tick and heart worm treatments and she recently had surgery to repair an umbilical hernia.

She loves children and plays well with other dogs. She is a staff favorite at Helen Woodward’s Doggie Day Care. She lived with another dog at her foster family and has also lived with cats in foster. My cats are not dog friendly so they coexist only.

She is not a big barker. She will alert you of people coming to the house but is friendly to most strangers. She has had private training and knows basic commands but needs more training to stop lunging at other dogs when walking. Her recall also isn’t developed yet.

She is crate trained and house trained and sleeps through the night without issue.

She is 33 % Stafford Terrier, 17 % German Shepard, 15 % Belgian Mal, and a mix of boxer, husky, and super mutt.

She is high energy in the morning. She needs some space and a nice walk in the mornings.

She does best on her prong collar as she is still learning to heal.

She is great with dogs and cats.

She is great with children.

She is great to go hiking, the beach, camping. She loves water.

She loves the pool.

She is an amazing girl.

She loves to cuddle and kiss you like crazy.

She is a hugger.

She doesn't pull on the leash.

She is open to meet new people.

She loves her sloth toy that she will take with her.
