My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Yoda is a sweet older rescue (8-10 years) that we adopted in September 2020. He was found on the street but probably an owned dog prior. He is shy in the beginning but warmed up to us soon. He is very gentle and calm, his favorite pastime is sleeping (about 18 hrs a day). Can stay at home alone for up to 8 hrs. He is very good on the leash and doesn't pull, but he isn't a great walker. We take him on shorter strolls and he loves to take his time to sniff. He shies away from other dogs and has never shown aggressive behavior. He gets stressed when he is outside of his known environment, and doesn't enjoy car rides. We have to move internationally by the end of the year and originally planned to bring Yoda. After getting to know him, we feel like he would do very badly with the move. We are hoping to find him a home were he can have the calm life he enjoys. Ideally a home with a garden where he can roam and sniff.
