Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucy is actually a Dobie-Rottwiler mix, and she was rescued following a biting incident from a local animal shelter. She bit a child for unknown reasons, even though she had been good with kids for months prior to the incident. Her previous home relinquished ownership because Lucy had eaten something that caused a blockage costing the owner several thousand dollars. To our knowledge, she has not made any subsequent meals of non-food items, so it's believed that was an immature dog behavior that she grew out of. Lucy is said to be housebroken, and she can live with a large, unaggressive male dog. She isn't recommended for a home with more than one other dog, however, as she can assume behavior typical of dogs in packs, bullying submissive and/or weaker dogs with other pack members. Lucy is affectionate and easy to love, and she's 6 years old as of 2022.
