This beautiful big boy is Lucky, a 2.5 year old Doberman mix, weighing in at 65lbs.
Lucky was rescued in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico from a family who had him tied up all day.
He is a high energy pup who loves to play and run and he would like a home where he gets a good amount of exercise and ideally a fenced yard.
Lucky behaves in many ways still like a puppy, most likely because he never really had anyone playing with him before.
He grab-bites your hands, not to hurt you, just to get your attention, and he plays quite rambunctious, so he needs training and we don´t recommend him for a family with younger children.
Lucky is a ladies-man, he gets along better with females, but also with submissive males.
He is a smart pup, knows basic commands and walk on leash, he also has been fixed and is fully vaccinated.
If you want to be his new family, please email us to spcapv@gmail.com

We screen all applications and in most cases require a home check prior to placement. An approved adoption application must be on file before meetings are set up, as our dogs are in foster homes. We charge a $550 USD adoption fee. We routinely follow up with a visit or at least a phone call after placement. We solicit follow up photos and publish adoptions in our weekly newsletter.

The dogs & cats of Mexico are too often found living on the streets after being discarded and/or extremely abused.
