ISSAC is a super sweet, high-energy mix of Frenchie + Schnauzer. He adores just about every size & shape human or dog he meets. His only wish list request is that a new family love play-play-playing. Okay... and maybe some cuddle time & treats?
Issac is quiet enough to be an apartment or townhouse dog, but will require a super-duper active family (think marathon runner!!) or another extremely playful dog buddy he can work out all his teenage puppy wiggles with.
He is a bit of an oddball in terms of looks. Issac's coat is schnauzer in length, but brindle in color pattern. Go figure. Issac also has a bit of a funny looking back, which our vet says is likely a birth defect of some kind. X-rays showed no ongoing issues of concern & whatever the cause was, it 110% does NOT slow him down at all these days.
If you think ISSAC is the dog for you, please fill out an adoption application today!

ISSAC is available for adoption through K-9 Rescue of the Eastern Shore.
An adoption process is required to include filling out an online adoption application available at the following link -- https://www.k9rescuees.org/info/adoption
Veterinary and personal reference checks, and a home visit/meet-n-greet are required PRIOR to being approved to adopt. The time frame for completing this process depends largely on how quickly references respond, your vet office is able to speak to us (some want written permission first), your landlord or HOA (if applicable) confirms their approval for a pet, & how your schedule aligns with that of our volunteer(s) for the Home Visit.

PLEASE NOTE ~ All of our rescue members are volunteers with many obligations. While we may not be capable of immediate response, we will respond to all inquiries and application submissions as soon as possible. Thank you for thinking adoption!
