My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gracie is an absolute sweetheart looking for a family to spend the rest of her life with. She’s only around 6 years old, terrier mix, so has a lot to offer and can’t wait for a family to spend it with. She started off in a shelter when she was just a pup but got lucky and was adopted into a forever home! She spent her days with her elderly mom and loved her life but sadly she lost her mom and continues on with her mom’s memory. While she holds her mom’s memory in her heart she still has a huge space in her heart for a new family. Will you be the family to fill that and make her heart whole again? She even made her very own artwork to gift to her new forever family 🙂
Gracie loves little easy going dogs, and takes a day to warm up to larger dogs but if they don’t step on her she easily accepts them =) She is good with all people, even kids and loves to cuddle! She also shows no signs of prey drive with small animals or cats. She’s is great on a leash, and even in the car so is happy to go anywhere and everywhere with you, even if it’s just the couch. She’s up to date on her rabies shot, flea/tick/heartworm meds, spayed and microchipped. She did great at her vet check up, even for the pokes. When it came to bath time she was patient and well behaved, of course having the zoomies after to dry off. She is fine in a crate if needed but would adore being able to sleep in the bed with you. She holds her potty fine but will need to be let out often and monitored to adjust to a new household, she will wear a diaper if needed during her adjustment to avoid piddle marking initially. Over all she’s an amazing dog with a wonderful personality and can’t wait to meet you so please send in an application for her!
