My story

Bambi is a 2 year old female, 17 lb, min pin mix. She was rescued from a hoarding house of 33 other dogs along with 3 puppies that may or may not have been hers. She’s very sweet but shy with new people, curious, playful, and friendly. Has one blue eye. Bambi came to us from a hoarding situation, extremely scared and unsocialized with people. Working with her, she has warmed up to her foster mom and dares to go out to the back yard with the other dogs. She does come for treats and food and allows her to pick her up and cuddle for a while. At this time, we feel that the ideal home for her is with someone who works from home or is retired AND has another playful dog. Bambi is young, active and very playful with other dogs. Even now, recovering from her spay surgery, she is very eager to play. The ideal home for Bambi would be with another playful dog in the household is because she needs a playful companion to feel secure.

More about this rescue

Broward County School Teachers who created this 501c3 non-profit organization in 2012, that have a deep love for animals and want to make a difference by keeping dogs and cats safe! We adopt dogs of all sizes and breeds. We provide assistance to families experiencing financial hardship that truly love their dog or cat but cannot afford to keep them due to a financial crisis and avoid them from having to surrender their pet to a high kill animal shelter. We provide foster homes to dogs and cats and help find them loving furever homes.
