Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maisie is an incredibly affectionate husky. My wife and I adopted her back in 2017 from the Idaho Humane Society and has been a wonderful member of our family of three and our collie mix Lady and two cats. She was picked up as a stray in Californian in early 2017 and rescued from a kill shelter and brought to Idaho. With her situation on adoption we were informed her best guess at age was 2 making her around 5 years old. She is house trained with all the basic commands, and is an excellent walking partner.
Now for the hard part. She has had three fights in the last year with our dog Lady. All three has been due to resource guarding over food. We have attempted to bring in outside help from a trainer but with the last altercation we have no other choice then to find another home for her. She does extremely well with other animals weather cats at home, dogs at the park or on leash.
In my mind, her ideal home would be a household with no other dogs or small children.
