Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nellie is an 6 yr old 14 lb loving rat terrier with a chihuahua grandpa. She is originally from the South. She was rescued several years ago. However, the other dog in the home who is much larger than Nellie has intimidated her to the point that Nellie is no longer the happy dog she once was. Nellie is wonderful with children, housebroken using a doggie door and a lap dog. She loves to eat and is not fussy about what is on her plate. She walks well on a leash, but prefers just being inside as a couch potato with a doggie door or wee wee pad. She has a cute way of letting you know her wants about whether to walk or not with her body language and she will sometimes even talk to you.
Nellie does not like her nails trimmed or thunderstorms, and runs under the bed or into a closet when she hears thunder. She also like to be with her people and prefers someone who is home a lot. She is non destructive when left alone. She likes cats and will often be found sleeping with them.
