My story

Vito spent many years protecting his best friend Vivi. They always stick together, and sleep together. Vivi recently became ill and passed away. Vito is now looking for someone who will stick by him. He is neutered, and responds when the colony feeder where he lives whistles or calls his name. The buildings around where his family lives have been torn down, and so he currently live in a construction zone, and is looking for a new home. He would do well as an indoor/outdoor cat in a safe environment, and would be happiest as a garden cat with one of his friends.

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
