I found Flidais in my neighborhood on May 25. I'm pretty sure she was dumped here. She is a puppy, probably around 5 months old now. She currently weighs 39 pounds and the vet estimates she could reach 50-60 pounds. We suspect she is at least part Husky, Pyrenees, or similar.
After a few weeks, however, we've realized we cannot properly care for her. She is a very sweet and very smart dog, but she still has a lot of that puppy energy -- and we have enough family challenges going on right now that it's a bit more than we can handle. We're not able to give her enough attention, and it's not fair to anyone, especially the dog.
She is partially house trained and she has taken to her crate well. We have started other basic training, which she has been picking up quickly, but we have not been able to be consistent in our efforts. Someone with a bit more time to give her will probably find quick success -- as I said, she's very smart.
