My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Walter is a 12 year old, 12lb shih tzu mix who was found as a stray with his fur completely matted over his eyes and a rather large tumor on his hind end. We scooped him up and immediately took him to our vet who cleaned him up, removed the tumor(which was benign!), gave him a dental, and a full clean bill of health. After a good groom he is now ready to meet his furever family. Walter is a stoic little gentleman and loves attention but is also perfectly suited to an independent life. He doesn't mind other dogs but is not overly playful, and he would likely be fine with cats and children as well. He is vocal when he's not getting what he wants, and his favorite things are food and back scratches. He walks well on a leash and will make the perfect companion to a fellow senior!
