Senior sweetie, Major Rascal is a major sweetheart, but he is going to need a very patient person. He absolutely hates change and will take more than a little while to warm up to a new home. He likes his personal space, but does entertain visitors when he is in his safe space. He wants to be pet and will reward your petting skills with his incredible purr. Major Rascal loves to headbutt those he loves, followed by a love nip, and a flop so you can rub his belly. But he is a good communicator who will let you know if he is not in the mood. He does not care for sharing, so no other pets to take away from his spotlight please. He wants to be your one and only. With patience, consistency and kindness Major Rascal will warm up to you and reward all your time and patience. He is looking for a big hearted person with a quiet and loving home.

Submit Application

Please visit our website: www.santedor.org for our online application and all the details to our process that may have changed since COVID.

3.
Home Check

During our conversation about what you are looking for in an animal companion, we will set up a time for a virtual homecheck via zoom or FT.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our tax-deductible adoption fee is due at time of signing the contract, at which point you can bring your new love home!

5.
Take the Pet Home

We will support you at every point through the process! Please continue to reach out to us post-adoption with any questions you might have.

Our adoption fees are as follows:
Kitten & Adult Cats: $155
Dogs: $300

Our process includes:
1. An adoption application.
2. Home check where the animal will live

Adoption Fee Includes:
* Medical records
* First set of standard vaccinations
* FVRCP vaccine & FIV/FeLV testing
* Treatment as necessary for worms, fleas, etc.
* ID Tag and collar (for dogs)
* Microchip
Spay/neuter if not already completed

More about this rescue

Santé D'Or Foundation was formed in 2003. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill animal rescue organization, specializing in natural healing and care.

The mission of Santé D’Or Foundation is to rescue and provide shelter and holistically-based medical care to animals, while working to secure them permanent homes. We act as an educational resource in our community through our rescue and adoption services and community outreach and TNR efforts. Our organization is run by our executive director and team, and staffed by volunteers.
