Who is looking for a nice adult Shepherd mix?
Coka came into Save A Mom in April of 2017. After weaning her pups she got adopted quickly. Sadly her owner recently passed away. Coka is not cat friendly, and has lived as the only dog for the last 4 years. She is very people friendly. In fact for the last 2 years she has lived at a skilled nursing facility with her owner. She had her own little exercise yard and her favorite place was the dining area!!
Coka is 5-6 yrs old and a tad pudgy at 70 lbs. Her vetcare is all up to date and she is microchipped. She was loved very much and received excellent care. She has her dog bed, toy basket, raised feeder, and a bunch of other things that she would like to bring to her new home. Her adoption fee will be discussed at Meet N Greet

When inquiring about a specific pet, we prefer emails, as time is limited to return phone calls.

Due to the amount of moms nursing their newborn puppies we do not have open shelter hours. Once your application has been approved we can schedule an appointment to visit the shelter.

Save A Mom is a 501(c)3 non profit, all volunteer organization. We rescue pregnant dogs, newly whelped litters and orphan pups that were destined for euthanasia.
We are not breed specific. As long as there is space and the funds to care for them, we pull from any pound or shelter.
We rely on adoption fees and donations to provide for the dogs in rescue.
All of our pets, including the pups will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
