My story

We rescued Rambo from the Harbor Shelter in San Pedro. He came in as a stray with a broken leg and was waiting for almost a week to be rescued. The shelter had reached out to numerous rescues but nobody could take him until AGWC Rockin' Rescue stepped up. He had a surgery at ACCESS and has recovered well. Rambo is house-trained, good on leash, mellow and an awesome dog. Call 818-348-6000 NOW for more information and to learn about the adoption process.

Why adoption is a great option

Rambo, a Woodland Hills Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Woodland Hills, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Woodland Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodland Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodland Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodland Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
