My story

Buddy is a 5-year-old, 60lb Shepherd mix.

Foster mom says that Buddy is a quirky, mischievous, affectionate dog who absolutely LOVES to play chase with the other dogs in his foster home.

He came out of a very bad situation, but you would never know it now. All that remains of the terrified dog we first met is a little nervousness in new situations...but he welcomes visitors to his foster home and enjoys going for walks with his doggie pals.

Buddy is lovely with all other dogs and he's the welcome committee when new fosters come into the home.

He's a snuggler and a *bit* of a bed hog.

Buddy is house trained (he has a dog door).

He has not been around cats but does join in the chase with squirrels.

Buddy is looking for someone who understands and appreciates him for who he is - a little shy, a lot playful, and a whole lot of love.

Submit Application

You may complete an application via our website at http://www.humanetomorrow.org/adopt/.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.

Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats

Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs

The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.

Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.

More about this rescue

Humane Tomorrow is a non-profit 501(c), all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of unwanted and abused animals in Flower Mound and the surrounding areas. We are also committed to spay/neuter assistance and education to companion animal guardians.

We do not have a shelter, so all animals in our program are placed in temporary foster homes until permanent homes can be found.
