Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bandit was adopted at 6 weeks old and has been with our family for approximately 4 years now. He is a wonderful family dog, he plays very well with all three of my children, and he sleeps with my oldest daughter every night. He is a fun dog full of energy and is very loving. He has grown up around chickens, horses, and cats, and plays well with other canines.
Although we love Bandit dearly, we cannot keep him any longer due to his anxiety with strangers. He is part Australian Shepard, and with this breed come very protective tendencies. We have younger children and live in a busy neighborhood, and he gets extremely anxious and barks/chases anyone who is not our core family very aggressively. I am seeking a family that is familiar with these tendencies but has the space/isolation that is more suited to a dog like Bandit.
Full Disclosure: Bandit has nipped several people, but not broken skin. We would like to rehome him to a place that does not have as many strangers coming/going.
