Frenchie is a 16 yr old little Maltese sweetheart. This 6.5 lbs of love will hang by your side all day and all night. He has a slight heart murmur but is not on medication, and he has a little psoriasis that is solved with medicated shampoo, otherwise he is healthy.

He's a runner so you must always have a leash on him. A fenced yard would be perfect for him. He can jump down off of a sofa or bed if you don’t get him first. Frenchie sleeps beside you in the big bed or in his comfy bed on the floor. He has a great appetite despite only having one tooth! He doesn’t like to play with other dogs but tolerates them as long as they leave him alone. Don’t know about cats since there are no cats in the foster home.

Frenchie loves to go for walks, ride in the car and loves to be held and loved on. He is house trained but is not good at letting you know when he needs to go out, so he wears a belly band when in the house, but if you put him on a schedule and take him out, there isn't a problem.

He is currently being fostered in Wilmington, NC.
