My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Look at the mug on my face and I’ll bet you’ll be able to guess my name. That’s right – I’m Happy! I am a 3-and-a-half-year-old, female, Husky. I tip the scales at about 50 lbs, and boy oh boy am I *Happy* to be here. You see, I had a family once. They got me when I was just a pup but decided that I didn’t exactly fit into their lifestyle as a full-grown doggo. Luckily, the crew at TCF stepped up and got me set up with a foster while I scout for my furever home. I am pretty much the complete package – spayed, vaccinated, leash, potty, AND crate trained – as I said, the complete package, people!

A little bit more about my sunny disposition – I LOVE people. Doggos I need a proper introduction, then we are cool, and cats…ehhh - pass. My foster pops and anyone who meets me would say I’m very friendly, energetic, intelligent, hilarious, and a little sassy. What can I say, I’m a Happy girl who knows what she wants! Some of my fave past times include chewing on my spikey ball, rubber Kong, and playing tug with my rope. I LOVE fetching after my orange ball, so let’s definitely make time for that! I also love getting my chest scratched (you know the spot!). Favorite treats include a hearty slice of cantaloupe (give me some frozen on a hot day and I’ll think I’ve died and gone to doggo heaven).

Because I’m an active girl, I’d do best in a home with owners who have time to exercise and entertain me. No, I’m not ‘needy’, but I am intelligent, and you know what they say about idle hands…er…paws! I’d do great in a home with kids- I love being in on all the action and would make a perfect family doggo! I’d probably do best as the only pupper in the home, however. Speaking of home, feel free to leave me for a few hours at a time. I may cry a little at first, but I’ll calm down and be totally fine. So, what do ya say? Do you need some Happy in your life?? My adoption fee is $300 and that includes spaying/neutering and vetting care.
