My story

Hi there! I came into Hi Tor as a stray in June 2021. Because I came in as a stray, the humans here didn't know my real name so they named me Brie because I'm white... like Brie cheese.. get it? These humans think they're so clever!

Anyway, I'm about 5 years old. Although I can't tell you anything about my history, the humans here at Hi Tor tell me I'm such a good girl! I enjoy walks but really love cuddling with the humans. I am very stressed here at the shelter and am really ready to get out of here and into my forever home! I show signs of separation anxiety at the shelter, which may settle down once I am in a quiet environment with routine. Either way, I am looking for a family that usually has someone home with me or at least will be patient with me and have the time to help me with my separation anxiety. The humans here at the shelter can help provide tips on how to best help me with that!

If you think we'd be a good match or you want to know more information about me, please email Can't wait to meet you! ??
