I am gentle, laid back and quiet. I enjoy laying in my hammock, but I have an adventurous side too and can be found running around with my brother and sisters!
I was rescued with my siblings when we were found in a box. One of the nice people that feeds the neighborhood cats found us just in time. Thank goodness she found our mom and reunited us, as we were still nursing. Once we were weaned our mom was spayed, vaccinated and returned to her neighborhood home (TNR). Our mom did not care for humans too much, but we are super sweet and outgoing!

Michelle#2M (Monte), a Orlando Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Orlando.
Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
