My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gracie is looking for a forever home. She was an owner surrender with her brother. The owner did not take good care of them and used to hit Gracie. Gracie is leery of people until she gets to know them. She just stays away until she feels comfortable, which was until recently. She has started to really come out of her shell lately.

Gracie needs to go to a home that has a confident dog already. She relies on other dogs to teach her what to do and make her feel safe. She loves to play and sit out in the yard. She is housebroken and crate trained. She is still learning how to walk on a leash since she was never exposed until we got her last month. It takes some coaxing and treats. She walks better when with another dog. She walks slowly right now and will stay behind you or beside you. She is very curious and still needing to be exposed to new things. The more things she is exposed to the more comfortable she will be out in the world.

Gracie is very beautiful and sometimes poses like a model. You have to catch her in her pose secretly or else she will move when she sees your phone taking a picture. Gracie has been able to meet a lot more people recently since the weather has been nice for her foster to have a lot of friends over. She has been a lot more interested in meeting people. She enjoys playing with the kids the most. She will seek attention more when she gets jealous of the other dogs getting the attention. She is still looking for a forever home!

Please let us know if you would like to meet Gracie!
