DOB – 2016 estimated - Adopted June 2021
Forgotten Ones volunteers are looking forward to a happy-ending story for sweet Igor! He had a difficult journey before coming to Forgotten Ones but things are definitely looking up for him. All he needs now is a forever family.
Igor came from a limited -capacity municipal animal centre and, when we took him into our adoption program, he was in urgent need of veterinary care. Forgotten Ones arranged for medical treatment for his eye condition, neutering and vaccines. Although Igor tested positive for FIV, he is in overall good health and has no litterbox issues.
It took Igor a little time to get comfortable with his foster family, but he quickly adjusted to his new surroundings and welcomed human companionship.
Igor loves to have his leopard brown tummy rubbed, a sure sign that he is trusting and blissful. He is always happy to snuggle up beside you and will doze off in the crook of your arm or knee. Igor is a considerate fellow and, when he is awaiting his breakfast early in the morning, he will patiently wait until you are awake before asking for food.
Igor loves to roll around on the couch or bed but occasionally he doesn’t realize he is close to the edge he’ll tumble off. He always does this with grace and will offer a smug look to anyone watching as if he is totally cool about the topple--he’s pretty darned cute.
Igor is looking for a family that will give him a safe and secure home and shower him with head rubs and scratches under his chin—and he will reward you with lots of love and his loud, contented purr.
