My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING - AS MUCH INFORMATION AS OUR VOLUNTEER FOSTERS HAVE IS WHAT IS WRITTEN. AN APPLICATION MUST BE SUBMITTED.

ABOUT ROLLO: I am a smart, energetic, and playful girl! I can hold my own with a 4# chihuahua or a 140# Newfoundland, and everything in between. Puppy, young adult, senior, I listen when they tell me to chill out.

I've been inside and outside, and have made great strides house-training and leash work. Though I'm now about 5 months old, I'm just a kid! I am very food motivated, so am absolutely certain we can work together for a common goal. 😉

I love cats...to chase. I really don't want to hurt them, but I do enjoy the chase. Now, a cat with some dog-savvy, like my foster-buddy, Fezzik...he'll smack me in the nose so I get it. My foster mom says "no kitty," but let's be realistic, the chase is a BLAST! So, foster mom says I probably shouldn't have young or dog inexperienced cats where I live forever (dang it!).

I do love my cuddles. When I'm ready to go to bed, I mean, I'm pretty much down for the count. I discovered foster mom's bed; when she lets me, I'm pretty good at going right to sleep once the lights are off and everyone is snuggled in for the night.

I am active, and still trying to figure out what foster mom means when she says "off, Rollo." I mean, who WOULDN'T want me to put my paws on their legs and show how much I love them? A lot? With emphasis?

If you think I might be for you, some more info follows here, as does the adoption application. Fill it out, maybe we're meant to be.

ABOUT THE LITTER:
Rollo & Bon were captured when they were about 2-3 weeks old, with their feral mom and dad. We also brought the mom and dad into rescue and are trying to work with them. (NOTE: WE'VE INCLUDED A PHOTO OF MOM, CINNA, AND LIKELY DAD, JAKE. WE CANNOT BE CERTAIN JAKE IS THE DAD, BUT THE TWO HAVE BEEN HANGING TOGETHER FOR SEVERAL YEARS.)

Rollo and Bon are amazingly friendly. Outgoing, fun, super sweet, and affectionate. Dad (Jake) and Mom (Cinna...get it? Cinna-Bon-Rollo?) are both lab mixes, with Jake being mostly black and Cinna a beautiful red chocolate. She's shedding like a maniac right now.

A physically fenced (not invisible) yard is preferable, though we look at this on a case-by-case basis.
We estimate their birthdate around 2/14/2021. We can only estimate breed and age. We believe when they are fully grown they will be roughly 70-80# (Jake and Cinna both are).

They have had all 3 of their DATTP vaccines, rabies, have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, started heartworm prevention and flea/tick preventative.

APPLICATION, REVIEW & COMMUNICATION INFO:
ADOPTION FEE: $350
An application is required – we look for the right home for the puppy’s personality. We will only contact the family that is chosen for the puppy. If the listing is no longer here, an adoption is pending or has been completed. We may suggest an alternate puppy based on personality.
