Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Looking for the right home for our 2yo old beagle, Jaxson. We got him from a beagle breeder when he was 2 months old. He is a khaki beagle with a silky, short coat and gorgeous eyes.
Jaxson is a sweet boy most of the time and loves to play. We love him very much but have come to learn that he is not a good fit for our family. We have a young son who tried so hard to bond with Jaxson but he doesn't reciprocate and it is constantly making our son sad. Jaxson is a good dog for adults or those with older kids but doesn't really care for smaller kids.
Jaxson has lots of great qualities but there are also some challenges.
Separation anxiety and often gets sad/upset when left alone
Sleeps in a crate at night with no issues but doesn't like to be crated during the day
Some issues with destroying things, usually our son's toys - nothing major
Possessive of food/treats and very food driven
Sometimes escapes but always comes back home
There is much more I could say but limited characters.
