Meet Pablo Pete! This rambunctious boy takes the gold in frisbee-catching and toy-chewing. You will often find Pete sprinting around the yard and practicing his wrestling moves on other dogs. While this sweet boy gets along with submissive dogs, he tends to clash with other dominant, high-energy dogs. He requires a slow introduction to any new dogs he meets. Because of his energetic personality, Pete would need to be in a home with no cats or small children. Pete is a ladies' man. Literally...he is fearful of men. This special boy has some insecurities that he is working on, such as not being so frightened of new people. He is looking for that perfect someone who is patient and willing to work with him on becoming the best dog he can be. While he may be a wild child at times, Pablo Pete loves being talked to like a baby and snuggling on the couch with his favorite humans. He also has a secret: He is a toy hoarder! The mission of One Love Animal Rescue, Inc. is to help abandoned, neglected, abused and unwanted pets by partnering with shelters, rescue groups and the community to facilitate adoption of these animals into permanent and loving homes.
Our goal is to save one life at a time by promoting local animal shelter adoptions and raising awareness in our community about responsible pet ownership. We strive to highlight the importance of spaying or neutering pets which will aid in the reduction of overpopulation. We believe that appropriate and positive reinforcement training and socialization of these shelter animals will lead to well-adjusted family pets, thereby decreasing the number of abandoned animals in shelters. Our dream is that one day all the shelters will be empty because every pet will have a home.
One Love Animal Rescue, Inc. is a volunteer based organization located in Savannah, Georgia. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit and all donations directly benefit the animals entrusted in our care.
