Reed is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so he is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home.

Reed, his siblings, and his mother were rescued from a fast kill, small town, dog pound. Mom is a Black Labrador Retriever and the father is unknown. Reed is a cutie, He is now 7 months old and still needs a home. Reed is very sweet, gentle, submissive, and a little bit shy with people. But he is smart and learns quickly for treats. He loves toys, wading in his wading pool, and playing with other gentle puppies. Reed has not been around cats so he might be able to get along with one if properly trained. Reed is still young and needs more training and further socialization. He must be in the house as a loved member of the family. Reed must be walked on a leash and he would like to have a securely fenced yard to run and play.

Reed is healthy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and is receiving monthly heartworm and flea preventative. Reed has a $500.00 adoption fee that includes ground transport via Mightly Mutt Shipping for pickup in White River Junction VT or Brattleboro VT. He is being fostered in Texas and will not be sent north until after he is adopted.
