CORNBREAD is a handsome boy with the sweetest disposition and most gentle, loving heart ever! He adores other dogs from tiny to giant. He currently shares his foster home with dogs and cats and gets along with everyone famously. CORNBREAD has a huge supply of kisses which he happily shares with humans and pups alike. He has truly never met a stranger and absolutely thrives off of making those around him happy. CORNBREAD isn't just all looks though, he is also an intelligent fellow. He learned the routine in his foster home lightning fast. In a matter of a few short days, it was like he had always lived there. This boy is full of character and his goofy self will bring so much light into his new family’s life. He loves car rides and would make an excellent partner for all of life’s adventures. He does fabulously in his crate when his foster family is not at home and never potties in the house. Welcome CORNBREAD into your family and he will surely show you his gratitude every day for years to come.

CORNBREAD is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.
His $340 adoption fee includes his interstate health certificate and the cost of transport to the middle TN area after he is officially adopted.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Pet Express Transport (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com) for our Nashville, Knoxville and New England adoptions. For our Midwest adopters, we have our own private transport.
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
