My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Roxy! She is a rare barn find that came to the rescue hiding a couple extra treasures of her own. Now that her mothering is done and her babies have moved onto their forever homes, it is time for Roxy to find the forever home she deserves!

Roxy is a sweet girl about 4 years old, who knows what she wants and when she wants it. She is chatty, but not overly vocal-more chirps and blerps…that is until feeding time. She will give you her undivided attention as she gives you directions on preparing her foods.

Outside of mealtime, Roxy’s favorite place is in the window. She will readily relay the squirrel and bird report. When she’s not the window she has assisted me with work by sending chat messages to peers, and somehow she managed to schedule an appointment for me once. Who doesn’t need a cat this talented?

Roxy would do best in a laid back house, as too much activity can overwhelm her. She is leery of my cats, but got along with the cats at the barn she came from.

Please note that all cats/kittens are fostered by different families. For this reason we are unable to answer specific questions about them. If you would like to meet them and learn more about them then please submit an application at http://rescued-treasures.com/cat-application/.
There foster family will follow up with you. Please note that submitting an application doesn't lock you into a commitment to adopt.

Before applying for this cat, please think the decision over thoroughly and make sure the whole family is in agreement. Owning a cat is a huge responsibility that is not something that should be rushed into. Each cat from Rescued Treasures has been saved from an uncertain future. If you are thinking about adopting, please remember it is a LIFE-LONG commitment. Cats can live to be at least 14 years old...are you ready to take care of him/her that long?
