HI I'm Abby! I'm currently living with a great foster family who is teaching me things like socialization and potty training! I'm making lots of progress, but still need a home with an experienced dog owner. It's best if there are other dogs for me to play with and learn from. I just LOVE other dogs! I am very loving with the person I'm closest to. I'll sit with you, sleep with you, snuggle with you. You name it! I walk well on a leash and am very friendly with people while out on walks. However, I'm extremely protective of my own yard and home. It's best if I'm crated when new people come over. I need to be properly introduced and have a chance to warm up to them. I know I have a lot of work ahead of me but I'm up for the challenge! I'm a sweet girl who's just waiting for the right person to help me blossom! Could it be you??
**Abby is generally fine with children, but we do not recommend a home with children at this time. We are looking for an experienced (one person home preferably) dog owner who has time and patience to work with Abby on her housebreaking and socialization. We think she will become a wonderful companion if given the time, patience, and love to thrive.**
