Duffy is a Jack Russel/ Jap chi/ terrier. We can only guess the breed mix, but his personality is all Jack Russel. He is friendly and sweet, but does have smarts and tons of energy. He definitely need

Duffy is a Jack Russel/ Japanese chin/ terrier. We can only guess the breed mix, but his personality is all Jack Russel. Duffy has a wire haired coat. He is friendly and sweet, but does have smarts and tons of energy. He definitely needs an active home and would do best with a playmate too. He would be a great agility dog. He's larger than 11 pounds would suggest. Maybe he even has some gray hound in him. We are requiring a home with a fenced yard to play in as well. He will be a great pet, but be prepared to do some training. He can be reactive on a leash and will jump on furniture and people. Duffy was rescued from the Humane society where he was turned in for aggression. At home he is fine but he was reportedly nipping the heals of neighbors and roaming free. He is smart enough to be a good escape artist. Duffy is estimated at 7 month old. His adoption fee is $275. Please find an application for Duffy at www.misfitsdogrescue.org
