My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This fluffy girl (just look at those cheeks and ears!) is Skittles and she is a 12 week old DMH Tortoiseshell Calico! She and her 4 siblings were dumped in a box on our doorstep when they were just about a week old (their eyes were still closed!). One of our staff members bottle fed all 5 kittens until they were ready to come to the shelter.

Skittles is a very sweet and affectionate kitten who is the smallest in her litter. She loves cuddling with people and will start purring as soon as you pick her up! Skittles loves romping, playing and wrestling with her siblings as well as playing with toy mice and any kind of toy on a string. She loves following people around and purrs the whole time!

Skittles is completely litter trained and eating Kitten Chow with a little bit of canned food every morning. She also loves the occasional Temptations cat treat!
Skittles would do well in a home with another cat and children as she loves to be carried. We have not had the opportunity to have Skittles around dogs but she is young enough that we are confident she would adjust to a home with a cat friendly dog.

Skittles has not yet been spayed or had her rabies vaccination as she is still too young. These are included in her adoption fee if she is taken to the Corydon Vet Clinic when she is 6 months old in November. The rest or her vaccinations, deworming, and flea treatment have been done already.
