My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Buddy is a 10 yr old mix breed. He has been a loyal companion to my parents and has been at their side through their aging process and illnesses. My father died on 6/24/21 and my mother is now hospitalized for a longterm illness leaving Buddy without a home. He has been somewhat neglected as my father (who loved Buddy dearly) became to ill to walk him. Over the past year Buddy’s appetite has decreased as became more picky. My dad would feed him whatever my dad was eating because they were pals. Buddy seems to know that they are gone and is sad and lonely. My brother and I both live out of town and are not able to take Buddy because of our individual living situations. Buddy is friendly, loves his back rubbed and petting him is always a good thing. His downfall is that he does have a deep loud bark. He will use this if startled or if the mailman comes by. He is friendly with people if his instincts tell him your a good person. He has never attacked or bitten anyone ever.
