Hi! I'm Hoss! I was rescued in Georgia & came to Big Dog Ranch, and I've been here awhile now. Actually it's been about 3 yrs. Not sure why??? I was still somewhat of a puppy when I arrived but I guess I have sort of aged a bit. I was 'dopted once for about 6 mo. I don't know why they didn't want me anymore...sigh. These days I kind of prefer naps but I do get spurts of energy and like to play with stuffed toys mostly. I've done best with smaller chill lady dogs for the most part if your friends have dogs, but I want to be your ONE and ONLY! What's wrong with that? I also love going on nice leash walks. Gotta exercise my sniffer still. I'm very treat motivated which motivates me to learn too. My food guarding has improved since coming to the Ranch, but I STILL don't care to share, (another reason for me to be an ONLY dog at home) I am described as a goofball and an old soul. As mentioned, I've been at the ranch a long time. I just need a good ole Hound Lover out there willing to give me a chance. I have a sweet face ready to give you sweet kisses. I'm available for foster too. Fostering saves lives!

Once you have completed the application, we will contact you to let you know you have been approved and then you will be able to set up an appointment to come and meet dogs you are interested in.
